Mice can be very tricky to deter as they can access our homes from all angles. They are incredible climbers and can fit through openings as small as a pencil eraser. We use pest control applications when getting control and treating mice. This requires a very strong commercial grade rodenticide. Some things that homeowners can do is to seal up any small cracks and openings around their home ex. gaps around A/C units and Furnace exhausts. Keeping food properly stored will also prevent attracting mice.

Generally, raccoons will not attack humans. However, during the baby season if the mother feels threatened or you get to close to her and her babies this may provoke an attack. Another common area is through the soffits and soffit intersections. These areas are easy places for raccoons to get their footing and push into our attics. SWAT Wildlife inspects these vulnerabilities and can provide re-enforcement to ensure raccoons cannot target these areas. Lastly, raccoons have feet that enable them to feel weak areas in the roof that otherwise look fine, SWAT Wildlife offers roof repairs to make sure that the roof remains raccoon-proof and waterproof. An inspection by an experienced technician can also help prevent this problem.

Although there are no shortage of ways for urban wildlife to gain access to our roofs because of their excellent climbing capabilities, there are a couple of precautions you can take to make it more of a challenge. Toronto’s Raccoon & Squirrel Removal Experts

Dear Customers,

SWAT Wildlife has always taken the health and safety of our customers, staff and of course, the animals we deal with everyday, very seriously.   We, just like you, are paying close attention to COVID-19. We are open for business and want to let you know that we have put the appropriate measures in place to protect ourselves and our customers.

  • Our Wildlife Technicians will always wear latex gloves, protective footwear and respirator masks when entering homes. We will stand 6 feet, or more, away from homeowners in accordance with social distancing rules.
  • We are trying to keep interior access into your homes to a minimum, however this time of year, access to your attics to inspect for babies is necessary.
  • When booking with our office staff over the phone, we will be asking if anyone in the house is sick, if they traveled in the last 14 days and if they have been around anyone with COVID-19 symptoms. Please understand that if you have traveled in the last 14 days, we cannot schedule an appointment for you until after the mandatory self isolation is complete.

We look forward to servicing your home and we hope that you and your loved ones stay safe in this uncertain time.
