On a beautiful Saturday morning we were called into local home in Toronto. Our SWAT Wildlife technician Johnny was on the job and narrated the whole process.
We were called in to deal with some raccoons who have made a home out of their shed and garage – and had some babies. We got the mother out of the shed so could safely access her babies without her trying to attack. You can see her staring through the hole in the shed wall, defensive and scared for the raccoon babies. We got the babies in a box safely once the mother was out of the way. We then lured the mother out of the garage using the babies. The mother slowly and cautiously followed us through the garage into the backyard where we placed her young. Once we were at a fair distance the mother then began to relocate her young, one at a time.
