How to get rid of Squirrels?

Once squirrels gain access to your roof or attic space, a professional technician will do a comprehensive inspection of your home to locate all points of entry. Squirrels will be removed by installing a one way door system allowing them to exit but not re-enter, and all other entry points sealed.

How to get rid of Raccoons?

Once Raccoons gain access to your roof, a one way door system is installed over the point of entry. It and all other entry points will be sealed to ensure Raccoons do not re-enter. Sometimes trapping is an option depending on time of year.

How to get rid of Rats?

There are many ways to remove Rats. The most effective way is to find the entry points they are using to enter, install a door to allow them to exit but not return, and then seal all other points of entry. However snap trapping and poisoning (rodenticide) is another way to control Rat populations.

What do Raccoons eat?

Raccoons are omnivores which means they will eat anything. This is why it is important not to feed wildlife such as Raccoons, or to leave food accessible to them as they will go through garbage, bird feeders, even domestic pet food if left outside.

Answer :
One-way doors are specially designed doors which allow the animal(s) to exit the property and not re-enter.

Answer :
Although there are no shortage of ways for urban wildlife to gain access to our roofs because of their excellent climbing capabilities, there are a couple of precautions you can take to make it more of a challenge. Trim tree branches so they do not overlap onto roof tops and dismantle any unused antennae which may be attached to your home.

Toronto’s Raccoon & Squirrel Removal Experts

Dear Customers,

SWAT Wildlife has always taken the health and safety of our customers, staff and of course, the animals we deal with everyday, very seriously.   We, just like you, are paying close attention to COVID-19. We are open for business and want to let you know that we have put the appropriate measures in place to protect ourselves and our customers.

  • Our Wildlife Technicians will always wear latex gloves, protective footwear and respirator masks when entering homes. We will stand 6 feet, or more, away from homeowners in accordance with social distancing rules.
  • We are trying to keep interior access into your homes to a minimum, however this time of year, access to your attics to inspect for babies is necessary.
  • When booking with our office staff over the phone, we will be asking if anyone in the house is sick, if they traveled in the last 14 days and if they have been around anyone with COVID-19 symptoms. Please understand that if you have traveled in the last 14 days, we cannot schedule an appointment for you until after the mandatory self isolation is complete.

We look forward to servicing your home and we hope that you and your loved ones stay safe in this uncertain time.
